Joe Pulizzi
Formerly the vice president of Penton Custom Media Inc., a global business-to-business marketing solutions provider, Joe is the founder and president of Z Squared Media. Joe is also chief content officer for Z Squared Media’s Junta42. He has worked with global Fortune 1000 marketers from a variety of vertical and horizontal sectors, becoming one of the leading experts in content marketing and custom publishing strategy. Awarded “Top Mover and Shaker Under 35” by Cleveland20/30, Joe is a board member of the Custom Publishing Council, chairperson of American Business Media’s Custom Media Committee, and an editorial advisory board member for B2B Marketing Trends. His background includes employment at two .com companies and teaching public speaking and communication theory for Penn State University, where he received a Master of Arts in Communications (MAC).

Pam Kozelka
Pam brings a broad range of communication expertise and non-profit experience to Z Squared Media, serving as vice president/director of operations. Her background includes working with a diverse selection of corporations, non-profits and individuals on performance-based communication strategies and tactics. A licensed social worker (LISW), Pam also has developed multiple programs for domestic violence offenders that give city and state localities alternative rehabilitation options through individual communication tactics and visualization strategies. Her dedication has helped to establish non-profit programs in Northeast Ohio that focus on volunteerism and recruitment.
Jim McDermott
Jim, a veteran marketing, communications and publishing expert, serves as Z Squared Media’s senior content advisor. Jim tallies more than 40 years executive experience with popular industry magazines, such as Contracting Business, HPAC (Heating-Piping-Air-Conditioning), HVACR Business and B2B Marketing Trends. He served as Penton Media’s director of quality and leadership, creating companywide communication and leadership programs, and as its director of custom publishing. An accomplished writer, Jim tours the country speaking on quality, leadership and marketing communication strategies.
